Richard N. Rosett served as Dean
of the GSB from 1974-1982? He was chairman of the economics
department at the University of Rochester from 1966-1974, when
he came to the GSB as Dean and professor of business economics.
Rosett received his BA in 1953 from Columbia and gradated from
Yale with an MA (1854)( and PhD (1957) in economics. He was
a director of the National Bureau of Economic Research, the
Tax Foundation and several major corporations. Rosett received
the Wilbur Lucius Cross medal from Yale University's Graduate
School Association for his "important contributions to
scholarship, to teaching, as well as to innovative leadership
in business education."
